Instructions

  1. Step 1: Brown the chicken thigh pieces in the vegetable oil, then lift them out.

  2. Step 2: Fry the onion, garlic and fresh ginger until soft and fragrant.

  3. Step 3: Return the chicken with the dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, palm sugar, salt and water.

  4. Step 4: Simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce clings, adding the red chilli near the end.
