Instructions
Step 1: Blanch the beef brisket chunks in boiling water, then rinse them.
Step 2: Brown the beef in the vegetable oil with the sliced fresh ginger, garlic and spring onion.
Step 3: Add the star anise, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar and water.
Step 4: Cover and braise gently until the beef is tender enough to cut with a spoon.
Step 5: Add the radish chunks and continue cooking until they are translucent and soft.
