Instructions
Step 1: Beat the butter and sugar until pale, then add the eggs one at a time.
Step 2: Fold in the flour and milk alternately and bake in a lined tin for 25 minutes.
Step 3: Cool completely, then chill the sponge so it cuts cleanly.
Step 4: Cut into 12 even squares.
Step 5: Whisk the icing sugar, cocoa, butter and hot milk into a thin icing.
Step 6: Dip each square, let the excess drip off, then roll in desiccated coconut.
Step 7: Set on a rack for an hour before serving.
