Instructions
Step 1: Soak the panko breadcrumbs in the whole milk, then mix with the beef mince, pork mince, beaten eggs, grated parmesan, half the garlic, salt and black pepper.
Step 2: Roll into small meatballs.
Step 3: Brown them in the olive oil in batches and lift them out.
Step 4: Fry the remaining garlic, add the tinned tomatoes and simmer.
Step 5: Return the meatballs and simmer gently until cooked through and the sauce is thick, then add the torn fresh basil.
