Instructions

  1. Step 1: Rub the rohu fish with half the ground turmeric and a little salt, then fry in the mustard oil until golden on both sides; lift out.

  2. Step 2: Fry the sliced onion in the same oil until golden, then add the ground onion, ginger paste, garlic paste, chilli powder and remaining turmeric and salt.

  3. Step 3: Add the water and green chilli, slide in the fish and simmer until the gravy thickens and the fish flakes.
